I think the brush will be enough for agitation, but a rotary will be best.

Once a CRB has been used and I mean a good heavy one not a sebo duo....

then you will see a truly agitated carpet  ;D

An important point worth mentioning.  If you use an aggressive aggitation machine you will need a very good vacuum cleaner and spend a lot more time vacuuming than you might have allowed for in your pricing.

Not with you on that one. Ok, so some fluff may come up with agitation but it takes seconds to suck up, simples!!!
