we give up with trying to pick up national type shops now and just stick with local companies.

wont be long until they hit the domestic market even more!

The external was done daily and internal was weekly, the company who got the contract now want a quote for weekly external and monthly internal.

Yes mate, somethings are best kept off the forums, especially when you know about 10 of your competitors are daily users of this forum, but they never post on here.

Spill the beans, who's getting them then? I do a top shop and heard nothing yet, though I know the cleaning companies area manager was asking how much they were paying for window cleaning a while back so I guess it could be them.

Dorothy Perkins, Top Shop, Burtons all owned by Arcadia Group I think, as is BHS, so I guess they will be going national as well, just a matter of time til they all are I guess.

I got a call to price the ones I do, the lady on the phone said 3 times the CHEAPEST gets the work, I phoned them with the price and asked a few questions.

They don't have there own window cleaners, all work is subbed out.

I asked her to send me an email so I could send them my details for future reference, they had no facilities to do this.

Alarm bells rang, so I asked where there head office is, she did not know, up north I think was her reply.

Good luck in getting paid if you do them, this seems like a proper micky mouse set up.

It's gonna be interesting to walk past the ones I do as some of them need doing every day.

The only other work I had from a cleaning company was with Jani King, They are total crap with paying and I sent them court letters, got paid straight away then, all my work is my own and thats the way I like it.

I tried to find them on google and could'nt, might just be my spelling of there name but still strange nowdays not to have a website, not unless there in Essex then I found them, but thats not up north

the problem you have got with all these natonal companies, is they go one of  them course and get all the nice qualifications, dont actually know how to clean windows and then just tenders for all the jobs going,  then sub it all out
