Got mine up and running with Superlight tubes and 38mm hose. Not bad suction and light as a feather.

Thanks Ive been meaning to make one for a while to but i was waiting for the vac,s to come into stock .
I got the idea for p@f from on here and i used the 2 metre mini flow gutter down pipe for the tubing and to couple them together i use 55mm tube and some jubilee clips
Where did you get 55mm tube? I scoured B&Q and couldn't find any.

Ok guys, I 've been messing about with making a coupling out of the mini downpipe. What I have done is to cut two 12" sections of the down pipe. One section needs to have straight ends. You need to cut one of the ends of the other 12" section at an angle as it needs to slide into the other section. Heat the straingt cut 12" section very gently at one end. Wehn warm, slide the pointy end (you have just cut) of the other 12" section into it. Gently work it up the section reheating as necessary. Don't heat too much or it will tear.

Once you have expanded both ends of your 12" section, you have a coupling you can use for the longer 2m sections.

before we know it we will have diy gutter vac section!

diy gutter vacs could work very well, as the main unit (the wet vac) is already made so we are just playing around with the tools of the vac really.

if they work well, gets work and customers are happy then happy days hey!
