Its not a silly Question.

I'm in the process of moving over to wfp cleaning.

I bought a tds meter 4 weeks ago from wintecs.So I could test my own water over a period of time and my customers water in the diffrent areas where I work, to give me an idea whether to go DI or RO.

Things going along fine, Then went to my wfp freinds house just to compare my TDS meter. Horrer of Horrers my reading was 38. My freinds TDS meters read 64 and 72, on a few tests.

His mine wrong? Its supposed to be0.999 % accurate.

How have the rest of you Wfpolers faired?

Or have you just taken it for granted your tds meter reading is right?

I have to have 100% confidence that when my meter reading says 0.000% that thats what it is because if i start putting unpure water on those windows my hard grafted reputation of being an excellent window cleaner will be flushed down the toilet faster then Svens reputation.

i have two tds meter's that say diffrent reading's
my first one is a hand held meter that show's higher readings,more  then me other meter which is an inline meter.
the inline meter came with my ro system from the ro-man,
i asked him about this an the repley was that the hand held meter adjust's for the tempture so was more accurate.

if i was u i would ask wintec's about this or get a secound tds meter an go with the one that show's highest reading's

Perhaps one of our enterprising W/C suplliers could sell testing kits. If you could buy a bottle of guarranteed IOOPPM TDS water, we could test our meters. DAI
