 if i was  a cynical person I would think he forgot to put a reserve on it so has got a mate to bid so it doesn't go for less than he wants

If I were cynical I would wonder why both bidders who offered £2,000 compared to the previous bid of £779 have a history of retracted bids.


A word of comfort for the vendor, if the wheels do fall off the auction I would be interested in discussing buying the machine, but not at £2000

I stopped bidding precisely because of the two silly bu**er bidders. Have you reported them to e.bay, given the number of retractions they had in the last few months?
