Before post gets moved :-) can anyone please explain to me in lamens terms why I can't connect my iPhone to iPad via Bluetooth?

apps music ect ,i am not tec minded .told by phone shop only way to go between the 2 of them is through i tunes on computer.i think they do it so everyone has to buy

That's what I can't understand......it can be done via iTunes.....why not just make it easier? I just wanna transfer some photos I've taken, that's all. I have to email them to myself to get them. It's 2011 for gawds sake lol

Upgrade your software, there was a huge change to bluetooth in version 4.3
