Just started bartering on commercial wk
« on: June 22, 2011, 05:43:29 pm »
Went into a local shop that sells the sort of goods I use. That's food obviously ;D
Said " Would you like to exchange window cleaning service for goods?"
(The value being what they pay at present)
They jumped at it cos they save their profit margin (maybe 30%) so its a reduction in their costs.
Wife loves it cos free goodies = less spend at Asda.
So that's one in the bag!
Next goes to cafe where we stop for a breakfast. Same patter "Windows cleaned for two breakfasts?"
Another one in the bag!!
So methinks barter is the way forward ;)

Are the windows all spattered?

Maybe this is the source of the spotting that GB keeps on banging on about. Maybe he gets too excited when cleaning windows?
