looking at getting a bigger van  my choices are  vivaro, transit or traffic

which one is best

Transit for you then. None of the others do 1500kg payload

Trafic and Vivaro have either 1 tonne or 1.2 tonne payloads (depends whether you get the 2.7 or 2.9 tonne version).  Assuming it's similar with the Transit, you may well need to go for the 3.2 tonne version to get your 1500kg.

Had an 04 Transit,very reliable but rust buckets,would'nt buy one again as for Vivaros you better get one after 05 as gear boxes will go rapidly :o
