i live in one of the areas these numptys say they are canvasing in. so if any of my customers get a knock on the door i will find out what is said and will post on here. i hope there training course dies a death as no window cleaner will go near them now. i would be very surprized if any of my customers leave me for these guys, i get to know my customers very well and many now are friends, they trust me to be on there property, they see me around town and say hello. if i charge a few quid more to clean there windows than these mugs its worth every penny

Maybe THEY should give this a go.... http://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/bournemouth/HighshineCleaning/465059
Wouldn't need to canvass and upset other windies then.

WOW what a massive over-reaction.

I believe the above statement to be fact.

i just completed a course with impact 42,
no one asked about job specifics.
just writing alleged next to every accusation is not good enough, you have to have proof.
from my experience no one question our group about jobs and prices. they have years of experience in window cleaning so i guess they saw an oppurtunity in their base area and went for it.

Why the hell would anyone need to do a course on window cleaning?? You put water and soap on a window and scrape it off.

In my opinion what a waste of 3 days.
If I'm going to have 3 days off I will spend it with my family not lining someone else's pockets.
Nvq for washing windows just like them kids say you didn't do well at school.
Takings off all first cleans till march 7th 2014
October  total=  cleaned  extra per month
November = cleaned extra per month
Total £  so far.

Have you heard yourself boys? If you put as much effort into your businesses as you do whinging and whining about someone that is just canvassing a round you would probably be more the better for it. Competition is healthy it should be driving you forward. To many whiners and not enough go getters.

I think Michael has covered the facts regarding the involvement that Andrew and I have within Clean Safe Window Cleaning.

Our company IMPACT43 provide the City and Guilds QCF with integrity and in the strictest of confidence with all companies and candidates attending.
We have strict codes of practice and policies to follow which in particular involve data protection, for this reason we have a contract with a company called Shred It, all confidential information is shredded by them.

We do not and would certainly not use any information received by a learner for the benefit of our or any other organisation.

We are independently audited by South Thames College and Andrew has over 35 years in the industry believe me he would not do anything to damage the IMPACT43 reputation.

RE posts concerning IMPACT43

In the avoidance of doubt

We will take legal action from today on any forum users that leave posts that have content which is untrue, libellous, slander

We will include the forum owners as far as they disclose the identity of undisclosed forum users pending court action.

Please note
Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, traducement, slander (for transitory statements), and libel (for written, broadcast, or otherwise published words)—is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image. It is usually a requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant).[1]

Please ensure your comments are true and valid .

Any further question or comments can be made to David Willis of Impact43, please call me on 01205 364333 or 07984365917.

Wow - I linked to this heavy-handed legal threat in the Impact 43 thread and IT'S BEEN REMOVED!!!

How odd.  It couldn't possibly be regarded as libellious - it just linked elsewhere on the forum and it's gone!

I'd be interested in an explanation why.  Are you ashamed of you libel lawyer threat, David?  I think we should be told.

Vin

at no point has anyone said that they have used information gained from training courses to specifically target other window cleaners work,i simply pointed out the irony in the fact that some of the window cleaners who signed up for their courses have had their work canvassed by a company that is seventy five% owned by Impact

just to clarify i am not saying they get info from the window cleaners and then target their work simply that they get govt.funding to run these courses and that some of those on the course have also had their work canvassed and taken by their cleaning "arm"
i dont know if these stories of deliberate undercutting are true
that is why i think the position of this company should be made clear
fair enough really dont you think??
this was posted by me earlier in this thread, perhaps you should read it

That's enough now, members can't post comments without any evidence and legal proceedings can be made against those making false accusations. Please be aware of this.
