The aqua dapter will add a little weight and are expensive compared to a tap, BUT they are so much easier to use than a tap. Because with tap you either have it in your hand, mounted on the pole or have a holster on your hip, which means you will have a loop of hose to snag on things, or you leave it on the floor meaning you have to bend down and pick it up.

With the AD it's pull on pull off, you can have both hands free to hold the pole then just a quick pull to turn it on or off. Some pinch the hose to cut the was off instead of a tap, but I tried that and it's a real perlava.

I have just tried out an AD today and really like it.

May purchase one in the near future :)

I looked at the aqua adapter at the cleaning show and thought it was grossly over priced and looks like it would end up a liability by jamming up. If it wasnt for the huge price i may have given it a chance though.

I tried it, didn't like it at all.  Too heavy.

Why would it jam up? I've had one for 8 months and it has never jammed once.

As for being overpriced, no one moans about paying £40 for a price of plastic with some bristles stapled in it from gardiners!

Personally I've yet to see anything beat the simplicity of the trigger.

Ive started using an A D last week and like it so far, im not sure if it will fit between railings when doing balconies but will find that out this week!

It is saving me about 150 litres of water a day........................... which is nice  :D

you might have one of the faulty ones email them as they had issues with the plastic on some of the aquadapters
