in 14 years of running a company iv never used a company so rubbish .

i brought 2 poles from them which took 4 weeks to get here when they said 3 days to 10 days  with me makeing a number of calls and being pushed from pillow to post and the promise of them calling back which they never did .
They also charged me for triggers on the poles in which they turned up without them.

i then called them which i was told they would be sent out .A WEEK AND A HALF LATER STILL NOT HERE .

I call them again and the sales team say we cant help you its got to be your area manager lol what a load of crap.iv now asked for a refund of the triggers.

They say they cant do it.IT as to be there accounts and they are not there .

I have used them twice, first time took a while to get my pole but second time it was with me the next day.

i stopped using them 5 years ago, in fact, that banned me from using them cos i aired my disgust at their service......do a search, think you'll find most ppl are pee'd of with them, im wondering how they are still in business!!!

At the end of the day when a company is  selling somthing its called cusomer services it goes along way .

strange isnt it

when i 1st started wfp i used to buy from brodex all the time. then one day i had a problem with something they supplied ,and they didnt want to know.
so i have never been back to them.

what fools they are.and im sure im not the only one. :

Never brought anything from them, simply because of the bad press on here over the years.
Oh yeah, and their products look poope 
But they must know they are getting slated on the forums, its just not good business to treat your custies like that.

When I brought the alloy 31 footer from them about February and they said to me that it be with me within the week and they did deliver within the week as I did order it 15.30pm Friday afternoon and it came at 09.30am the following Friday.

And I have used this pole mainly since I have had it and most of my customers have mention how nice the pole is.

I would use them....

They must be losing out thousands of pounds in repeat orders, it makes sense to look after your customers as other suppliers on here have proved with the good publicity.

Is'nt that funny, im just about at the end of my tether with them also.

Ive already got two of thier poles a Carbon Fibre 57footer and and Ally 26Footer, both great poles and have been a testimant to good craftmanship but, unfortunatley thats where my good experience of Brodex ends.

I thought well these have been good and have lasted well (baring £32 for new bolts and fasteners for the 57footer??) i'd go back. The intension was to buy my mid range C/F 36footer from there but was advised that they were having a cracking sale on the Ally version for £99, i thought "wow thats nearly at a quarter of the price of what i wanted" a little heaver but not a great deal after it has a light-weight brushe added.

Anyway cut a long story short it took around two weeks to get to me with an addition of a new 18footer. The 18ft one was fine nothing special but when i opened the packing to find that the crank was on the wrong pole and the gooseneck on the other i was a bit miffed??

Surely a company of this size wouldn't make such a minor cockup by not reading the order? Anyway i took them outside to check that all that clamps etc worked and to my horror my new 36footer looked like it had been in a fight with something and lost... Every section had had its coating scratched and hacked off and one other's the coating had reacted with the poorly finished metal work underneath!!!

Spoke to them the next day arguing that this is'nt right and should be collected at thier cost not mine (as im sure they try and do with everyone) and after upteen failed emails of pictures showing the extent of the damage and phone calls to chase up whats happening... Im hopefully safe to say my new pole should be here tomorrow and im not paying for colection/delivery of the damaged one!!!

If im honest i cant say i wont go to them again for a cheap pole but all i can say is. There quality compared to thier older generation of poles is by far WELL UNDER PAR!!!

Thats nothing mate. There a company selling poles that you can't get through to on the phone and the waiting list is about 6 weeks long and everyone is still queueing up for them !!!!

Brodex has let me down, promised things and not delivered and also been rude.
They have also done the same to another company round the corner!

We both decided never to use they again.

I would hate to think that people thought that about my company..

Maybe they should go back to basics and get the customer care at least right.

Off to Ascot today and the moto is 'bet big to win big!'

Thats nothing mate. There a company selling poles that you can't get through to on the phone and the waiting list is about 6 weeks long and everyone is still queueing up for them !!!! 

There is a very good reason why people are willing to wait for 6 weeks! Quality

Only reason to go to brodex is price and it proves to be a false economy
