So having got ya water down to 0.00 does anyone use their water for drinking as in fill up a big 3 L bottle to put in fridge so your drinking pure water without any rubbish in it?

i dont see why it would cause you a problem, some peoples tap water is only 30tds, im sure there is a scientific reason behind wether you can drink it or not.

Not for drinking, (although I'm sure that small amounts woldn't make you ill) but it makes absolutely brilliant tea. There's no hard water scum floating on the top.

It takes a while to get used to it as the tea tastes a bit "thin" at first. After a few days you start to really taste the tea rather than the water and you'll be amazed at the difference.

I use nothing else now for my tea and hate drinking tea anywhere but at home.

Dunno  about coffee. Never touch the stuff.

And SB is right. You need the salts and minerals in water to stay healthy - particularly if you eat a lot of denatured and processed food (and we all do these days as it's all you can buy.)

im glad i bought this point up now, if nothing else i can drink great tea, however with tds etc, in cave men days they must of done ok at drinking out of rivers, or we wld not all be here today.

I think that if the water has gone through an RO it is ok, but if it has passed through DI resin it is not fit to drink !

yes cos smaller ROs are used in peoples houses under the sink for pure water lkle 30-50 gallon ones with 2 vercial filters. so it must be ok to drink, they dont have a DI in thier set up.

Cavemen ate whole-foods and drank from any water source available as Kraft and Coca Cola hadn't yet got in on the act.

There fore they had plenty of healthy essential minerals and vitamins and died at 28. Luckily they did a lot of mating!!

We had a leaflet with an envelope containing plastic sample jar recently inviting us to get our water tested for impurities as they are "bad for you". I put pure in the jar and left it outside to be clollected. Heard no more....

I use my RO water in tea coffee stops all the hard water building up in the kettle.. just shows what you are drinking
