Nothing like going to your tank on a monday morning
« on: June 13, 2011, 09:58:35 pm »
...when its empty, i do my water at parents and one of them, anyway, neither owning up. Someone turned my sub pump on over weekend and chucked 1000l into garden and how ever much more as it kept filling  :'(

Fortuantly id got a load of RO barrelled up water so was ok but gutting or what.

i filled my 350L tank up last night at 9pm.it takes around 60 mins to purify DI ONLY.my tap tds is 30-35 most of the time.i count myself very lucky.no messing about with IBCs,RO s,etc.

having a tank in the van instead of barrels is so much better!should of done it months ago!! ;D ;D

I fillled my van from an IBC pumped from the back garden a while ago, when i finished i turned the transfer pump off but didnt close the transfer hose off properly, by the morning it had siphoned  the ibc empty all over my front garden, lost about 800 litres  ::)

sean my hose  goes from bath tap upstairs in my flat to twin DI s then tank!pressure is good but i think the long hose and DI s slow it down a bit!
