Unscrew it from the underside, loosen the sink and tap, undo the joints and it should come out no problem!!

Sorry couldn't help it, I used to be a kitchen fitter.  ;D
When you say stained, do you mean discolored/bleached?
What sort of worktop is it? Granite/solid wood/laminate.
Only advice I can offer going forward is to not use bleach based products anymore, they are a banned substance with every contract cleaner in the country (as far as I have seen) and a liability for this sort of reason.

Lol  :) very funny!

Yes, well I see your point, but having never had any problems, and I thought it was such mild bleach yada yada, anyway damage now done.

I'm actually not sure what type it would be classified as, it's dark colour, I think it's one of those chipboard type one's with vinyl covering, does that make sense (if your a kitchen fitter you probably know what I mean) ?!?

It's got darker patches, where the spray has been, not sure if that helps explain it much?!

Its laminate then.
I think to be honest you are stuck with it, if it were wood or solid surface it could be sanded out.
Hows the customer about it?

Have googled this and the results aren't promising.
Ditch the bleach though seriously, not good.

Sorry I cant be more help.

Ah ok.  Nope, definately can't be sanded, think I will give it a miss now, just in case.

Customer is not happy, looks like i'll be buying new worktops :(

If you cannot buff the stain out with a mild abrasive ie cream cleaner then what about colouring the whole worktop with bleach ?

Thanks BDCS, I was thinking of giving cream cleaner a try, but not sure it will shift it. It has only darkened it in patches, so bleaching it might be an idea, I might patch test, don't think it can look much worse.

If it was bleach it would have lightened it not darkened.

Denise it was flash spray with bleach. The worktops are a very dark/black colour and you can see the spray marks which are slightly darker, where it has either sunk in or something?!

It was definately that spray, as that was all I used and it's definately darker, not lighter, although I see your point, that it should be lighter.

Something is not right here!  Are you sure it's a laminate surface and not some sort of stone?
