My Xtreme with fans (with pics)
« on: June 08, 2011, 05:52:32 pm »
Seeing as a few people are asking about the xtreme brush with fans, i thought i would put some pics up of mine to help anyone out that is thinking of doing it.

I think i had to remove 1 bunch from each side and they interfered with the bigger hole that fan jets require.

I have has no problems with the strength of the stock being effected by putting bigger holes in it, and removing the bristles hasnt had an effect on cleaning

They're not recessed. Could the glass scratch?

I love that brush.its the Jennifer anniston of wfp brushes.
Im going to order one with fans this week.I just can't get over how great these brushes are.so light and so well balanced on the pole and glides across the glass and scrubs perfectly.

They are working great, I've been using them for a while in a DT mono and aerial brush, but when I got the xtreme I didn't get time to fit them, so after using pencils and gettingvtgrough more water and taking longer the rinse I decided to go back to fans, I much prefere them.

@pure glass, I'm using a plastic goose neck with a tecbuk socket on the brush, I prefer the angle and extra reach it gives.

lee there isn't enough bristles on the extreme to clean quicker than the aerail brush
no way, I clean windows in a couple of seconds
cant be done with the extreme
you must lose a lot of time
i'm not blamimg the extreme brush
you cant be using the aerial brush quick

I didn't say it was quicker, I said fan jets are quicker. I work at the same speed with the xtreme as I do the aerial and see no need to go quicker. Maybe the aerial brush is quicker, maybe it isn't I don't know, but I'm more than happy with the xtreme.
