Hi, been using 40 degree fan jets a couple of months now, on a gardiners supa-lite brush.

I am happy with but can't seem to find a setting on my varistream for perfect rinse.

what i mean is i was on setting 4 (old digi varistream  on freedom trolley 1-10) pencil jets; now go anywhere from 4-7.

don't like fans to full on as worried will not have good control when cleaning windows (rinsing).

Was wondering what others using fans do.

i.e is your controller settings 25% 50% higher than when you were using pencil jets.

maybe i am worrying about water consumption as i use 25 ltr barrels.

Also thinking of getting a different brush from gardiners so  can rinse on the glass; anyone do this, is it producing good results?

I think i will find it hard to get out of the habbit of lifting to rinse.

i have mine set on 40 on a 1 -99 digital and i use 1 ltr of water about every 40 seconds

used to use fans but don't now as I can't be bothered fitting them - they are very good though, maybe I'll go back to them.

anyway, back to your question - we have our pumps on full speed but use less water than when we ran the pumps slower - seems illogical but it makes it much quicker rinsing etc so less time on each window, give it a try.

Thanks alan have done this but worried about not controlling rinse properly; i.e spraying brick work instead of windows etc.

Want to get an aqua- adapter to control rinseing more.

I am the same as alan, I rinse on so there is no problems with over spray.

I use this one with 40 degree fan jets (blue ones) Gardiners fitted em for me.

Think this brush is not reccomended by them to rinse on glass.

I have used loads currently using the super light xtreme white one excellent for rinsing on, but all I have used have been mono brushes, but I think you are correct and that brush is not recommended for rinsing on.

a few years ago when I did rinse off I still ran at full whack and just kept the brush close to the glass i.e just a couple of inches away until at least half way down the window and never had a problem with over spray
