WFP Customer Fact Sheet
« on: June 07, 2011, 10:28:31 am »
Hi All,

Does anybody have a link for a decent WFP fact sheet that i can hand to new customers? I've trawled the net and haven't really found anything suitable.

Cheers Scott

I can't see the need for these unless you are switching from trad to WFP. I relied them a little at first, but only through lack of confidence in whether I was leaving the windows streak free. I think in most parts of the country people are used to seeing WFP now

My advice is the same as the others. You don't have to know anything more than the fact it's pure water, usually purier than rain water which doesn't leave streaks.

The job of your canvasser is to look for new customers. If they haven't a window cleaner then do they want one? Then agree a price and cleaning schedule. You main concern who is going to price the job? Is he going to or does he pass the info on to you to complete?

His job is not to explain how WFP works, it's just to get the enquiries for window cleaning. It's your job to ensure the customer is happy with the clean your canvasser has found.

thanks for the advice spruce, i have been training him how to canvass and he's pricing very well its just peace of mind for me as if any potential customers ask any silly questions i,e about the advantages and the procedure he can give them a general fact sheet to put their mind at ease...

keep it simple!!

you would be suprised how many customers dont care how you clean the windows. just that you do them right!

over explaining wfp can open up a whole can of worms and customers will go looking for faults in the cleaning results

Just copy and paste this into Microsoft word.........

Using latest Waterfed Pole Technology........
We use purified water to clean your windows leaving no streaks or smears (unless they are very dirty).
We work from the saftey of the ground and comply fully with the Working at Heights Directive from the EU, apart from which we don't like ladders, they're scarey and leave big holes in your lawn.
We clean the frames thoroughly which enhances the job, this usually only needs doing a few times a year but we'll do it everytime whether they need it or not.
Once our operative is on site please do not open your front door or you are liable to get a face full of water, also ensure all windows are closed down tightly.
We are not liable for any lifting laminate flooring damage due to water ingress just because your door is not fitted right. You need to contact the door installer to fix this problem.
In winter please ensure you have a grit bin available so we can spread after we have been to save you slipping on the ice we create.
We are not responsible for 'blown' windows. It may appear that they are full of water and we squirt water all over them but please be reassured its not us thats doing it.
We are confident you will enjoy the more thorough clean provided by our Water Fed Pole method, it may sound like its raining cats and dogs when we come to clean your windows but when they have dried off, usually just as its going dark then you will appreciate the difference the next day. Unless you get any spots. If you do get any spots ring us and lets us know and we'll come back and do it again, we offer a 100% guarantee.
