6mm microbore is more managable.i have some minibore on my trolley and its awful!unless your using a hot system i think microbore is better.ive been using 5mm extension hose added to trolley and its defo better to handle than the 8mm.

Don't Gardiners do one with the same outside diameter as microbore?

Gardiners have some new 8mm minibore which is superb.

It's approx 12.5mm OD, very flexible & has NO memory- so it doesn't spring loose on the reel & is more reluctant to tangles. It just moulds itself to however it's reeled in & out.

It's the best hose I've ever used! ;)

I think their microbore is also made the same now too.
