I've been using the 25ft Elite for a few weeks now and have got to say that it's a fantastic pole to work with, VERY light and takes a lot of the physical effort out of a full days work, they are expensive but worth every penny, which I have no regrets spending at all.

If I needed a carbon fibre pole in a hurry and the SLX I wanted wasn't in stock, then the £70 cheaper price tag for the Elite would just be a bonus, and I'd get the Elite.
cant you make it the same??
Quote from: Wc Solutions on June 06, 2011, 09:49:29 pmcant you make it the same?? If I change the quality of components and manufacturing standards then I would be able to reduce the price. Until the SL-X came along carbon poles were considered the province of the well off window cleaner or those that had to do high level work. Current prices for the SL-X are actually a lot less than they were four years ago. Let me talk to the staff about reducing their wages and I'll get back to you...........
What is the reason for the wait for the slx anyway ? I am not being sarcastic I just wondered why there is none in stock ?
as title really.always stayed with gardiners but the wait is annoying.
The SLX is a good pole and it's right to say that before it carbon Poles were much more expensive. But having used both I feel the elite is a betterPole.
