Hi Gareth,

Not a problem at all. Send me an email. I will give you some information. However treat it as guidance only. The reason for this is every company large or small operates differently.

With actual supplies, I assume you mean like loo roll, paper towels etc. There is no actual average of what to charge as your rates per customer will vary depending on how much they are currently spending with you.

Some companies even give the disposables to clients for the same price as they paid. This is just to be competitive on price.

Other add a % of 5 - 20%

Get in touch with suppliers an haggle. If you only order the odd box here and there you wont get cheaper than display price.

As for carpet cleaning it a great add on to office cleaning. We have several machine from LM to HWE and Cimex encap.

Go on a course with Prochem. You can advance to the other stages like ncca etc but I personally in my opinion see no point. It just a money making scheme join here on the dotted line and you can use our logo providing you take an exam. Carpet cleaning is not rocket science as some will lead you to believe. I have yet to find the doctrine and a university for a degree.

The other thing is don't get boggled down with all the available chemicals. You wont get them all in the van and it will cost you a fortune. Think ROI.

Invest in a good machine. Either Portable like the Airflex 600 or go all out and get a TM. Bare in mind a TM has presence!!! so it must be great right?

Ask yourself this, If I purchase a TM will I earn more? That's a big question. And don't forget about repayments on you machine. How many jobs do I have to do before my machine is paid for.

Best of luck

Dave

Gareth,
Personal messages were done away with some time ago due to abuse apparantly.
Goto the left of the screen, click on the users name, in this case Pristine clean. There you will find an email address, website address and some additional info.
Some users choose not to display this info, in which case you need to request it from them.
I hope this helps.
