What pole hose to avoid tangles?
« on: May 25, 2011, 07:48:42 pm »

I have a van mount with 100m microbore hose, also  i use the yellow gardiners pole hose.
As i drag the the microbore, the length of yellow pole hose is always tangling up with the microbore (i also have a tap/belt holster, so the loop is probably whats causing it).
What pole hose is best to avoid these tangles as i think it is the gardiners hose which is the problem?
Anyone got the same setup but found better hose?
Love Gardiners, except the yellow pole hose. ;D

have had exactly same problem with pole hose.
You want streamline lite 5.
It came supplied with my 35 ft hybrid pole from xline over 3 years ago and still perfect in use, does'nt seem to be effected by cold weather too much either.

where ever you order from make sure it has streamline lite 5 stamped on it, bought a batch from cleaning spot to replace my clx hose thinking it was the same (description and photo on website led me to believe it was ) but its only just marginally better than the gardiners yellow hose, hope that helps  ;)

I usually cut a lot off the pole hose so it only just reaches to the ground when the pole is fully extended. IMO a lot of the problems stem from it being too long.

get an aqua-daptor.it comes with very good red pole hose.no kinks,no loops.fantastic!

end of problem.no struggling to extend the pole when the hose kinks inside the pole either.
price higher/work harder!
