Anyone on here cleaning static caravans?? On behalf of van owners not the site owners??

Dont want to know how much you charge or how busy u are, just whether you provide this service as a major part of your business.

Oh and where abouts are you based?

Thanks

Hi Davo,

I did a lot of static caravans for some gypsies a while back. They were all very nice people, well they were with me any ways.

On average I was cleaning about 8 different sites. Started off with one then grew...to more sites

This was in sheerness and headcorn area. I originally cleaned the windows of the large bungalow type homes then moved on to cleaning the static caravans as well.

However, that was a while ago now as the amount they wanted to pay was a little too low.

In the end I decided to stop it.

Happy to tell you anything you want to know if it helps.

Hi
after a dispute with my ex landlord for a 2 bed park home,he is trying to bill me ludicrous sums for the cleaning.

As a rough guess how much for a full eot clean on the above, I have to say that we were smokers so there was a bit of nicotine on the lounge wall.

just need a rough guess at the going rate (it is in hampshire if that makes any difference)

Cheers mate

price for EOT will vary but as a guess it should not be much more than £130 if its a static caravan. If its static bungalow type then it will be more.

If a carpet clean is required then ill add a bit in but you would be looking at least £60 - 80 more

However that is our price... some maybe more other cheaper.

How much is he charging you then?

Hector,

I don't suppose you have photos of when you moved in do you?

Then

Photos of what it was like when you vacated the property?

If you do and they prove you left it in a reasonable condition then you are on a winner...

For a bill of that size that must of been some actual damage ..... i.e. flood, water damage to a valuable painting or something.

regards

Dave

Yes Dave we have, he claims he had to repaint everything which would only come to £300 at the most.

If he's used a fire & flood restoration company and has had them clean all walls to remove Nicotine and then had the place decorated you would be looking nearer 3k.

The judge said that although we were in the right, if we could not reach an agreement on the costs, then he would have to shedule in a proper court date in a few months or so, to start hearing all the legalities etc, or we could work it out now.

He said that we would probably win the next round etc but the legal costs would be more than he was claiming now, so although the law was on our side, we have not got enough money to fight it all the way.

we (reluctantly on my part) agree £670

M power eats the stuff off, as I know as I used it.

He is a robbing bar steward who will get his comeuppance one day, but not from me I hasten to add.

Thanks for your imput guys.

I have  free advertising, no strings attached, for cleaners throughout the country who want exterior and interior cleaning work for static caravans. The work is advertised directly to the owners, no park operator work.

Also decking cleaning for the pressure washing people. and carpet and upholstery cleaning for the carpet people. Previous experience doing this type of work preferred.
Must have Public Liability Insurance.
