What is the pole made out of lead?

It's the old yellow fibreglass ond a bit of a beast.

8 foot sections but the bottom section broke and is 5 foot.


I presume you mean the 40 foot supermax as there isn't a 35 foot one.

Think this may be my solution along with an 18' regular.

Just under £900 for both so it's in budget.

YOUR GONNA NOTICE ONE HELL OF A DIFFERENCE PAL!when you get some lighter poles!

i would recommend a 22ft clx or slx as your everyday run of the mill domestic pole.the lightness and short closed lengths of these poles will be like nothing you ve experienced before!!the 22ft will allow you to reach over most flat roofs and connies as i think the 18footer will come up short on a few jobs which will be really annoying having to go back to the van for another pole!they are still very light!

i also have a 25ft SLX which is great which is used on bigger domestics/commercial and awkward flat roof/extension accounts.

as for a bigger pole ive not got anything bigger than a 25footer but you wont go wrong with any of the carbon gardiner range IMO.

A 22ft clx/slx with aqua-daptor and extreme brush will blow you away for a regular domestic pole and youll never use the facelift again thats for sure!!!

I think my first purchase will be to replace the 35' monster.

I'm thinking of the 40' Supermax from Gardiners then replace the everyday pole later.

I think it will. I've used a 25ft slx for my everyday pole for about 4 years now. I use a swivel though & this allows me to do any window at any angle even in the smallest amount of space.

I would go with the 22 or 25ft slx personally.

Why don't you cut the sections of your facelift down a few inches, make it more managable & smaller closed length?
