No i think the right thing to do is if your round is full of mortgaged domestic customers to keep door knocking incase the inevitable interest rate rises affect your business by people having to decide which of their monthly outgoings they will have to lose for instance one customer told me recently your the first to go along with hubbys golf membership,this forums about advice and helping each other i think its just a shame that in a lot of posts theres people who are shall i say negative towards the original posters views instead of having anything positive to contribute,theres an old adage if you dont have anything good to say then dont say nothing.Im not just on about my own post a cpl of days ago but posts time and time again from others and its normally from the same negative people.

So take that as a friendly bit of advice there may be some people on here with skin less thicker than mine who could do without the negativity guys and im sure the person who originally started this place would agree with me.

Good point EWC, forums are for advice, banter and help. Also, if someone pipes up with something that some member doesn't agree with, then that member can say so and make his or her point. That's what you get on forums. Different points of view. If you don't like that, there is no need to get angry and abusive and call members "Numpties" or such names. In banter this is acceptable though.

I don't think interest rates will make a massive difference to my business. As I said before, I've well over 300 soldiers families as custies here who have ALL lost at least 600 to 700 quid a month on allowences. Lost only one custy as a result. Gained lots of new custies though in the last 4 weeks. Normal for springtime.

If you want to worry and fret about rates, great, knock yourself out with it, just don't expect some or all to agree with your view.

I've been in this game a while now. Since 89, I've seen these resessions come and go, I'm still here.
