the whirlwind you can just put on the glass and start squeegee'in because it soaps as it goes. the flipper you soap up then flip the washer strip out of the way..off you go  the very latest one i dont know much about but is similar to the whirlwind.
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

I've been using flippers for at least a couple of years now. Apart from small, internal georgian panes I use them for all my trad work. Super fast & makes the job so much easier.

Takes a couple of weeks to really get used to them but it's worth every minute IMO. Superb trad tool. I've knocked some serious time off some of my work with them, especially the insides of a couple of hotels I do. ;)

However, the yellow pads that came with mine (unless they've changed them) are rubbish. I use Lidl floor mop pads & cut to size, they are perfect!

worth their weight in Gold.  i like the 12 or 14 "  yellow or blue wagtail without a pad.  i find its best to make sure the swivel point is loose-when new the nut and bolt can be a tad tight ,so i slacken the nut

That is true.
You might be better buying the orbital squeegee and attaching your own pad, to use as a flipper.

I wouldn`t waste my time and money buying the flipper, Stu. If you want to use it as a flipper, modify it yourself.
Saying that, I just use it as a squeegee and use an ordinary applicator.

I do both trad and wfp. Still quite a bit of trad work.
There`s just me. I have had help in the past, but it was on a casual basis. I can do without the hassle these days, unless I got someone really good.
I`m in the North West.

I`ve not got a logo or anything like that, Bobby. I`m not very professional or committed, me.
I treat it as a job really and my most important tool is my flask  ;D
Employing can be tricky and I think I`d only do it again if it was someone I know, or know a lot about.
I would approach them, rather than the other way round. Pick someone you want, Bobby.
For me it would be someone experienced or an acquaintance or customer that I know that would give it a go.
