What thread?? ;)

Gav,those new Gardiner hose reels don't comfortably hold 100m of hose so Tosh has sorted his so it does (probably cut 30m off it  ;D). The hose falls over the sides and drags on the floor etc

i have noticed if you pull to hard you get overspin for want of a better phrase and you end up with slack coils..thats annoying. it has happened once or twice tho hose over the edge that is Toshs pimp should fix this thanks to whoever op'd it.

I can't find the close up, but this will do.  Look at the side of the top handle of the hose reels.  I've put a short piece of that stuff plumbers use to lag pipes with onto the side and gaffer taped it, so it's close to the reel.  This stops the hose from over-running the reel and getting trapped between the side of the reel and the handle.  It works.

Yep.  I'm pleased with the gear so far too.  If I could do it all again, I'd just have gotten two variflow flow controllers and not the expensive Cleaning Warehouse one with a split charge relay (since I'm just manually charging my battery).

I wouldn't have bought the aqua dapters.  I didn't like 'em.

And I would've gotten one trolley with wheels, as it's useful to be able to take your hose to where you want to start working (at times) and roll the hose back to your van.

The rest of the gear is great.
