just realised today i have cleaned the wrong house yesterday. thought it strange i didnt recognise the back of the house. all the houses there look the same. so they have had a  free clean.

Other day someone came out, asked me to go price a house over road. I walked back to van, pulled hose over started cleaning the house, a different lady comes out "hi have you got the right house?", me "erm yes think so" looked exactly same, was cleaning next door, only had done one window fortunately lol

He's alright - wouldn't mind but he had a work sheet with the correct number of the house on - didn't look at it though

I did try to make the best of it, put a note through the door saying i cleaned by mistake and as they had not asked me obviously there was no charge and if they would like them done in the future the price would be £xx.......Never heard a thing

anyone ever miss windows by accident?missed two side windows on friday at one house!going round at 845 tomorrow morning to clean them!luckily its not far from my first job of the day!!

i think with the repetitive nature of the job we all miss ones out if we get chatting to a custy or answer the phone and forget!! : :

A mate of mine years ago  us to do some window cleaning as a subby  on his days off as an ambulance driver. It was on an estate called South Oxhey built in the 1950s but all the roads look the same.
Him and his mate got several houses into a road before somebody queried what they were doing and it turned out they were on the wrong road.
