My Aquadapter review
« on: May 14, 2011, 02:51:13 pm »
I,ve only used it for 3 days, here are the +'s & -'s

-'s
1 Weight, a noticeable difference on my SLX, part of that is probably using the microbore as pole hose.
2 Seems flimsy, time will tell
3 Takes some getting used to. After a while the pulling action gets easier, once again this could be because i'm pulling on microbore.
4 Closed length, now a bit more awkward on downstairs windows
5 Slower extending pole, rectus fitting catching on butt cap as microbore goes up pole.
6 Expensive, but the developement must have been expensive

+'s
1 No loop of pole hose
2 Not tethered to pole at holster on belt
3 No wet legs
4 Apparently the customer service is excellent
5 I think it will speed me up even more

Overall i would say that if it lasts i will keep it on my slx, but i've bought an extreme brush to lower the weight.
I can see why it's won awards and so far i think that the plusses make up for any niggles.
btw thanks to Tosh for putting me onto the flipfast, i,ve ordered three.

4 Closed length, now a bit more awkward on downstairs windows
5 Slower extending pole, rectus fitting catching on butt cap as microbore goes up pole. thats not the fault of the aqua dapter, i use this method and its not long before you get the hang of it.

6 Expensive, but the developement must have been expensive

NOW PAY ATTENTION ITS VERY COMPLICATED  ;D  you simply take the bolt and wheel bit off the angle adapter and replace with the quick release clamp which is a bolt with a nut one end and the cllamp the other, you just turn the nut to get the right tension for the quick clamp to lock and unlock. 2 minute job. if you already have the angle adapter you save quite a bit.

yes i think some have got their wires crossed !!!

Had the Ad for over a year now - cant fault it, but you would be better using their pole hole and pulling that rather
than the microbore.

as Lee pointed out - you cant blame the AD for your hose catching inside the pole.

Lee - been using Ariel Brush this week -   ;D ;D ;D

Clearly I'm missing something here but how is this easier / better / more convenient than a trigger?
