i bought an aqua-daptor about a month ago and it seems to be stiffening up and doesnt turn on and off as well as when i first bought it.quite a lot of the time it takes 2 pulls of the hose to turn the water off/on.

anybody else have this problem.it seems to be getting worse every day!!

They look good but cost quite a bit i would only want to pay £50 so i will wait for them to do a special offer

External pole hose; it cost's nowt; and works EVERY TIME.

replacement is perfect and yes they are worth the money stop being penny pinchers, i just hope they bring out a super lightweight model

I don't think they're worth the money, and I have actually bought two of the ruddy things!  I think they're in the bottom of my wardrobe somewhere. 

And the external pole hose can control when you want water on-or-off!

Tosh, is that not a bit of a headache? especially at this time of year. I am forever placing the pole up against a wall or whatever so I can go and move garden furniture stuff on loads of jobs or maybe just to have a chat with someone. This idea of your's sounds well daft to me, water would be gushing out all the time whenever I stopped for any given reason. And also, hose that soft must be a nightmare around rose bushes is it not?

Nope; it's not a problem.  Wor Lass can do it no problem, and she's just a little woman.  Trust me, if it was difficult, she wouldn't do it.  She prefers the SLX without the aqua dapter and using an external pole hose; she finds it easier.

It's only a bit of nipped hose; you can talk to a customer while holding a bit of pole hose surely (I know you're a Jock and this will probably be considered multi tasking)!  And if for some reason you did need to use both hands, you can disconnect the yellow hose from the pole hose and the rectus connection stops the flow of water.

Maybe this is a personal preference thing, but you're all welcome to spend £70 on an overpriced lump of weight at the end of your pole that'll possibly give you problems; but I know what I prefer.  And both Ian_Giles and Squeaky work with external pole hose too; so we can't all be daft in Chepstow!

i have one on my slx just gives me a bit more lenght to use on the pole as some parts have warn at the bottom of some sections ,so i can still us it,
and i hardly use it so not to worryed about is sticking and this is the mk 2,
i agree with Tosh hose on the out side i have the 22 slx never had to clean it as the dirt does not go inside the pole,but i have up a tap on the goose neck and can turn it on & of near the window

The longer I'm in this job the more I realise simple is best. No flashy gimmicks. The less to go wrong the better in my eyes. Its another thing that "can" go wrong. Another reason to get stressed. Nothing against aquadapter. Never tried using one. Some people like basic mobile phones,cars etc for the same reason......keep it simple. If it ain't broken.......bla bla bla. I just got one tap. If it breaks......replaced for a fiver. The way I like it.

I completely understand what you mean.  That's why this situation has been so frustrating for us.  We were badly let down by our suppliers which caused the problems people have reported.

The Aqua-dapter is built to last and the operation is very simple.  It was designed by a Window Cleaner to make his working day easier and more profitable.

If/when problems arise we're committed to sorting them out as quickly as possible as we all (us and customers) want to reduce stress!
