ptfe spray

I've just bought 12 x 400 ml cans of the stuff from ebay that worked out at £3 each with delivery; so that's pretty good.

Are you sure the screwfix stuff is correct ?

you need PTFE dry lube spray - not PTFE lubricant - these are oily based and may cause dirt and grit to build
up on the pole sections.

just  tried it out its not greasy not on carbon pole on alloy pole and it almost evaporates after a very thin coat thanks for that smudger did not want to slip up

I've just had a look at that toolstation ptfe.  Yeh, it's £2.87 for a 400 ml can, and then they charge £5.00 for postage and packaging; final price £7.87!

I guess if you need other stuff, then this would be good.

there is a branch near me so i got a mate to pick  it up no delivery charge , they have good number of branches check before buying

Add something else, it's only a minimum £10 order for free delivery at Toolstation. ;)
