Got a call today from a customer who has spilt  plug in airfrsher oil onto her uphostery no idea yet as to how bad or what the upholstery is but wanted to ask you guys what would be the best way, on a carpet i would be ok.
But what would be safe and effective on this or should i just use something stronger and flush out with acid rinse

James i tried on a 80/20 hall carpet and failed
with a green coloured plug in.

I had some on my own carpet, airwick red. Powerburst prespray and Liquid high heat rinse, came straight out without even trying.

Depends on the type of suite i suppose, could'nt say without a look at it.

I would use a mixture of cat urine and vomit to try and get rid of the awfull smell.

Hot water flush should do the trick, maybe prespray with Fab restorer if reqd

Sometimes the colour in the plug in has so much dye in it that it can be impossible to remove, I would rinse then apply acid rinse in a spray bottle allow a 5 min dwell but then really you are getting into the bleaching aspects of stain removal which really does need practice and experience.

Good news guys she said that the oil was clear so just an oil mark she described it.
 i have some fabric restorer so may give that a go, just out of interest if this is a synthetic material what would be wrong with trying something much stronger like ultrapac renovate or powerburst.

I'd have no problems putting on Ultrapak it's a little foamy so it will not saturate the fabric where as powerburst may wet it through, I personal would advise you to use Fab restorer as that's what it's made for.

Fab Rest has got water based solvents in it so would try this first.

Did the chair today ended up using ultrapac which was the only thing to touch it, rinsed rather quickly
