turbo lance punctured
« on: May 10, 2011, 04:49:00 pm »
there is a micro puncture on the lance tube so a fine mist can be seen errupting from the side. i guess this will only get worse. have ordered new part but wondered if anyone could suggest a quick temporary fix . the pressure is still ok at the moment but i dont want it to blow completely before the new part arrives.

maybe some thick exhaust type bandag, (cut a small strip off, just enough to wrap round the lance once) and jublee clip it...should hold..

You can get good quality hoses rubber welded.

Is the problem in the hose or the high pressure tube that carries the turbo nozzle. If its the tube then swop the high pressure one with the low pressure one
