Hi im building up a window cleaning round due to being made redundant earlier in the year. Could you save me from having to sign on and give me a go.

It is working a dream and new customers actualy feel for me. Anyway thought i would share.

if its a lie its never a good plan really.  you will get found out one way or the other.

Experiance or not mate at the end of the day its only window cleaning. My 7 year old daughter can do it. Well i have been hitting a hard area in south london and have been getting good results. We got 24 new custards last night. We wouldnt have got half of that saying the norm.

reminds me of the time that a big issue seller lied to me to get a sale.  that was 10 years ago or more now, but i haven't bought a big issue since.

people will always justify lies, in order to make money.  seems like you justify it to yourself with your 7 year old daughter line. but the truth is your misleading people to make money for yourself, and it will catch up on you.

its unprofessional, pretty pathetic, and not how the majority of business people on this forum like to operate.

If the OP is telling the truth in his pitch and it works for him then I say let me tell you about the salesman I knew who was being told by the rest of the group that you can't make good sales in December because everyone stops the week before Xmas.

He had just made the biggest sale in the company's history on December 23rd and said no-one told me that December was a bad month - I didn't realise.

If the OP is lying to get custies - well he is not to be admired.

If people know your just starting out they will expect a reduction in the price due to your lack of experience etc.

Well you can say or think as you wish. Most sales have little white lies involved to clinch the deal. Its called thinking outside the box.
I already have a huge round all done from canvassing and am helping a mate by quickly building another round for him to work as has been layed off. He will be new to window cleaning so it isnt realy a lie is it. But however i am using the pitch as a guilt pitch for the customers and it is working. L

I was just trying to help the guys who are building up a round with another technique that works.

If you really were made redundant and you are genuinely starting up, then I wish you well.

If, however, you are fibbing, it will catch up with you in the end.
