Rainwater harvesting questions
« on: May 05, 2011, 05:20:27 pm »
I'm building a rainwater harvesting system next week - do you just let the water straight into your holding tanks from the gutter downpipes or do you filter out debris in some way beforehand?

the tds varies can sometimes be 2  and other times over 30  ::)

i use filters in the gutters which should be changed weekly really ,but i dont  :)

then if you look at one of the last photos ,the blue box that contains various filters and they are all

gravity fed.

when the tds is high i pump it through the ro then using a cheap £30 pump of ebay.

hope that helps you
