I've got no problem with what you post GB. I'm not being funny eiher. In my opinion, this mlarky can earn anyone with ambition, a very good income. I'm not suprised by Lee's success. The guy is very driven and keen to get on. It's a mind set thing IMO.
I've seen people put even bigger business together in less than 7 years.

i have some work that with a little elbow grease can earn £60 an hour, on an average day though i earn around £30 for the first 2 hours, then around £15 per hour after that for however long i stay at it, you start to get tired around lunch time and customers get more chatty which holds me up

Rosskesava , with you there mate , the tools are out again , when i was trad  i was lucky to see £80 for a days work , still good compared to the last job , my work was hard and a bit underpriced , but if i could earn £150 by hand then give me back my 325 beemer with a rack and no hassles .

Sure it could be done in essex , seen em all havin there vajazzles done in their spare time  , not in Plymouth though mate !

Rich

What bit's not in Plymouth Rich, the £150 per day or the vajazzles being done in your lunch break???

I never let my vajazzle become neglected but that's just me I guess ;D

some hours you will earn £25 and some hours you will earn £50 odd, try to think more about the days earnings mate.

one man trad should be able to do £150 a day, based on a 6hr day

Quite right. On average I clean about 30 £15 houses a day - and if I'm feeling fit I can do that before lunch at 11am having started at 10am.

£150 a day trad................ dream on.
no way 6hrs trad....maybe wfp

i work 9 -3 every day and when i was trad id did £150 a day honest.

wfp i do about £180 in those hours.

all about having a good round with compact work. all priced right and all messers dropped.

Shine, Daz is right.  Now is it because you're slow or under-priced, or both?

How much would you charge for a standard semi (if there is a beast) with 8 or 9 windows, and how long would that take you to clean?

For an average 8-9 window semi I would charge £6-£7 and would get it done in 20-25 mins. I know that would make my on the glass rate £18 an hour but including the time spent collecting, driving around, loading etc Im lucky if I pull in £100 for an 8 hour day.
My area is small villages and quite rural. I do have some compact work in town but my town is very small.

I have canvassers out at the min and have told them to price high as alot of my work is underpriced due to my own inexperience when I started.
