I'm not so sure about the Mysteron part...
I nearly imploded too!
Stay cool, you've got my vote.
Let's face it, some pass the bullets, some fire them...some just look on.
You've been passed a good few bullets since I've been here.
And a fair few have silently looked on enjoying it, ready to hide when teacher comes.
Oh well, time to straighten up.  Look forward to intelligent postings, sometimes provocative, nothing wrong with that in my opinion, as long as it's within the socially accepted forum guidelines.
Seeee, I can do it!

Graham

nobody made fun of you because you are gay .
people made fun because you go off the rails now and again,
the fun was in a jovial way and you give a lot of stick so people assume you can take it in return.  ;D
create an high profile and people will have a go.

now pull yourself together man ,thats the best sympathy you will get off me ,i am not an american, i dont do hugs and things.  :-*

remember, Tosh is a volunteer on here ,and he gives you too much leeway .
you are making his job very difficult ,what are you tring to prove ,find peace within yourself and chill.

Look after yourself and iff you need to talk

Hi Richard

For pity's sake, you all slagged me off for being gay

I think you may be over reacting in the use of the term 'you all'. Do you mean every single person on this forum 'slagged you off'? Just and only for being gay? I didn't know you were untill you posted it and anyway, members on CIU have 'slagged' me off ffrom time to time and sometimes fairly and sometimes unfairly.

What does 'slag you off' actually mean? And why is it so important to know you are gay anyway?

Chill out and r-e-l-a-x.

Some support from a few of you wouldn't go amiss.

Support for what? I am confused and to be honest, I don't really have much idea of what you are going on about.

I think you mean about the threads being locked, I think. If so, it was probably because they were not w/c related. I pride myself on getting topics locked (from time to time) and from sometimes winding up Mr Moderator and then knowing when to step back a step or two and then .... get a thread locked..... and so it goes on.

Just enjoy the forum  ;D

Cheers

Ross

Is Richard, Graham Gould?

I'm confused.  I'm a Geordie.

My name is Ken (not Kenneth) Richard Simpkin.

But everyone including my Missis calls me 'Tosh'.  It's a nickname given to me (by an extremely hard and violent Corporal) when I was seventeen, and has stuck since.

Only my Mother, brother and school friends call me Ken.  Originally on this site, this being the first ever forum I joined, I called myself 'Windows-Chepstow' because I thought it might be good to let other Chepstow members know that I was a local window cleaner.

That saves me asking Tosh, I did wonder how that came about...

Graham/Richard etc.. What's with all the mystery lately?

You're not going to morph into a tomato again are you?

It takes us a while to realise it's you half the time. :D

Graham

That strange way of writing 'don;t' gives you away.......... You remebered to write the first 'don't' correctly but not the second.

Check out previous postings of Grahams.

That and other use of words and terms.

Hi Graham ..... hugs baby .....

Hi Everyone,

Well today I am fuming, well actually I have been since Saturday!!!!

Well we ordered a new car for my wife, must be over a month ago now and I went to collect it last Saturday, this was the date agreed when we ordered it (Oh Renault Gran Scenic). cleaned the wife’s old car up and took it down to the garage, only to be told I had my dates wrong and it was this Saturday (the just gone) that the car was ordered for. So I bit the bullet, didn’t bother arguing and left it at that.

Well after Fridays meeting and everything else, I couldn’t clean the wife’s car out until Saturday morning (it cannot be that dirty I here you say - you don’t know our kids, crisp, sweets, etc). Anyway, up and out in the cold at 8am, waking the neighbors with the vacuum :-), washed it all ready by nine, sat down had my coffee, then the wife suggested to phone the garage first, so I did.

'Oh sorry, your car only arrived yesterday and we have not checked it over, etc, etc, etc'. So now it is actually ready tomorrow 9 am and off we go. But what really annoys me, why didn’t they phone Wednesday/ Thursday or Friday to explain, the car had not arrived and they need a few days to check it when it does.

Sorry about that, but I had to get it off my chest.

Hope you all had a good day

Andrew

Give him a break - it's not so hard to work out who is who.  Just look at profile and then previous posts.

My heart bleeds 24-7.  How do you put up with the stress?  I understand though,..
I had a similar prob saturday.  We wanted to go for a bike ride.  My back tyre was a bit flat, couldn't find the pump, so we went for a walk instead.  And to top it all it rained!
It's tough at the top man! ;)

Hi 24-7 S C Services

I know that type of story so well.

I havn't had the same with buying a car but I had similar with a cooker. In the end I went into their showroom (full of people) and got a chair and stood up on it and asked for everyone's attention and told my tale. The manager got irate and threatened to call the police but backed down when I threatened to phone the local paper.

The cooker arrived next day.

Like you, one phone call would have made all the difference.
