Regular customer asked me to quote to clean their gutters out ... bungerlow with gutters on 2 sides about 90 foot in total plus a little amount on the dormer so guessed 2 hours work @ £30 an hour quoted £60.

They thought it was too expensive 

What would u have quoted ?

price sound about right but would have been gutters soffit and fascia.   - sometimes you just need to 'big' up the clean so the custy understands your not just sploshing a bit of water around

if only i had a gutter vac ..... however at £30 are you selling your services too cheap ??. Prefer not to work than work for too little just my opinion though
