whats best product to seal van floor?

does fixing the tank to the floor count as a modification?as insurance company allways asks that question.want to keep the ins price down.

What insurance do you need to cover your goods in the van,going to spend some serious dosh on the right eqiupment.dont want no light finger freedie walking away with me poles.

It's probably better to ask insurance company - in writing - about the tank.  It saves them from making excuses not to pay out if you ever need it.  Direct Lin4e told me that they would not view it as a modification but that they would not insure the tank itself.  That will probably come under "tools of trade" in the public liability insurance I think.

I've not lined it yet as I will be changing my van before going full out with WFP.  My enquiry with Direct Line was a preliminary one and the issue about my future water tank was thrown in as an extra question.
Direct Line allow me to insure my van (Escort 55) as a private motor car used for business purposes.  As I will be getting a much bigger van, I only phoned them to ask up to what point I could continue insuring a van with them in this manner (e.g. does it become commercial after a certain engine size, payload etc).  It sounds like they are happy for me to go all the way to the point just before HGV before this happens.

yep, but can you spray it on,my mate has a garage and says if I help him mask it up he will spray it for me .

Did the instructions that came with it say you could spray it on.

Its quite thick and has little bits in it that are the non slip when its dry.  Dont I sound technical!   lol

I seem to remember that paint used by spray guns are very thin.   Even household paint needs to be thinned to go through a gun.  Protecta-kote is deffo NOT suitable for spraying on.   

Perhaps ask for a tiny sample to allow you to guage it before wasting your money.  Would off to show you ours    BUT we no longer have the vehicle we used it on.

I do a fibreglass kit you apply yourself, you can't spay it on though.

I'm going to keep the van till it dies,sohow long will the fibreglass floor last.

How much does the kit cost? van floor dimensions- 2.510m by 1.562m.
