Garmin nuvi 1410. Best piece of kit I have bought this year. We do around 50 Jobs a day. Sorts the lot out geographically with the optimization function.

Took me a month to research and source this beauty. You get it with one post.  ;D

£150.00 From halfords would you believe.

Google Maps.

Type in the first two postcodes as, say, SO15 1GY to SO30 2TA

You'll get back a route.  On the left, look for "add destination". Put in another postcode.  Repeat until all in.

Then you'll have a barmy route, but you can drag stopping points up or down the list until it looks right.  You do it by dragging the letter up or down the list.

Hard to explain, easy to do.  Give it a try.

Google maps only let's you put in 26 destinations, and you have to sort the order yourself

Yes, just checked the number and it is 26.  However, the ability to see the map and the route means getting it right is pretty simple.

There was something on here ages ago where there was a website that did it.  Stuffed if I can find it...

So there are some chargeable ones.  Search for "Route Optimisation" and you'll find plenty.

Now you might balk at paying for them, but think on how much you'll be saving before refusing - it might be worth it.

Yes it does only allow for 26 but if you are really good and clever it is posisible to print 2 seperate sheets off with the seperate postcodes on ie 52, and cross check the routes with the naked eye,

Its frustrating but its possible,

If you are really commited to the job though you could get one of those garmins that have just been mentioned, I didn't know they exist.

Mine cost me 80quid and is crap so the extra 70 would be well spent.
