Seems it is a pretty big thing, cant see anyone appreciating us turning up on Friday.

Got a carpet job to do at a big accountants office block. But would still do our Brit custies on Friday if we needed to. I think most aren't really interested in the wedding.
Maybe it's different in UK?

I will be working but will start a bit later than usual in deference to some of my customers perhaps having a lie-in on a day off.

Definately not. I'm not even British (rep of Ireland, but living in Oxford UK) but there is no way Im going to miss out on a party!!! You Brits should be out celebrating your future Kings Wedding, its a fantastic and unique day!  Forget the money and enjoy yourselves!
