Im looking to distribute a6 postcards instead of a5 leaflets for a change.

I know they are more expensive and I will pay VAT on them as well but thought it would be worth a try.

Can anyone advise which quality is best?  I see from the D.P. Design website they offer 250gm and 32gm but, without seeing them, it's difficult to know the difference between the two.

I have used DP for cards on two occasions and the quality of the print is good,I would advise you go for the 320gsm as the 250 gsm is a thin 250 in my opinion.Feels to me more like a 200.

I use a company called Fairprint in Scotland......

10,000 top quality full print postcards both sides full colour.

£120 all inclusive and this means delivery too.

BTW artwork was free as well....

Had a few freebies (paying postage only) from Vistaprint at 100 a time, they keep offering me freebies so I've got over 500 now  
I know a few others on here have complained about them in the past but never had a problem.

280g - 139 x 107mm or 216 x 139mm on matt. Good quality, intend to order a larger batch.

I too would go with the thicker postcard as they will soon look a bit tatty after they have been carried around worth you.

See flyer attached. This flyer is my current run, it's 250gm A6. They are fine and I found the price jump from 250gm to 300gm was pretty big ( think I paid £46 for 5000 )

But the size makes them more difficult to post through the letterbox, especially those ones with the industrial stregth bristles and double doors ! it means putting your fingers in dasnger of being nipped by dogs.

Other than that very happy.

ok then guys from experience what works....postcards / flyers ...or what...i kind of get the whole distribution idea .... thing is ive dropped a load .... nil response...going to back it up with another drop ... then again ...and again....also design tips ...what works best...gets the best response...thanks..
