Can anyone advice me on training and licences I may need to allow me to pick up sharps.

The council will do it in public places but won't inside buildings. You need a waste carriers licence. You should have hep jabs, bins, sanitiser and pliers. I trained for this with nacsc but its not worth £500 as I get very few jobs and people don't want to pay what the jobs worth

Legally all you need is a waste carriers licence £180 from the environment agency .
Oh and some common sense.

We will be providing training in this shortley.
I work full time in a restoration company in my own time, we will be producing traing courses.
