If small volumes then we use an industrial paint stripper (nitromors equivalent).

dont think its small.....sounds like some has crossed someone....and had paint chucked all over the door....door had been replaced....unlike the surrounding brickwork and path!

Does it look something like this?

Used steam and ghost remover and ended up like this.

For paint on glass use a glass scraper, its easier.

If I remember rightly this job took about 2 hours from starting to set up, to pulling away at the end of the job.  It also included another wall and the floor in the porch... also the concrete slab pathway leading to the house.

It was the hottest day of the year and in that porch I was enveloped in steam... nice!!!!
