Pump Box

Anyone got any pictures of a pump box either DIY or bought?

I've seen one before on here but it looked like it was a small pump, not a full size one.

That's actually quite a clever design, but as flow controllers are fairly inexpensive now then there's no reason not to use one unless your on a seriously tight budget.

Can I ask why you need a pic, are you trying to build a pump box?  If you need some help then drop me an e-mail, I'm currently putting a system together that I might market so I'm fairly up on it all at the moment  ;D

Thanks VSP for the offer but I think I'm sorted now.

I've sorted a box and will post some pics when I eventually get round to making the thing.

I wanted some pics because I think that one above is not what I want. I do have a pump controller so the box is purely for the full size pump and strainer. Also I want to use 1/2" hose to keep fittings simpler and so as not to maybe restrict flow or pressure. I may be wrong on that though. Might have to fit some elbow fittings though to fit it in the box without kinking the hose.

Hi, try to avoid any elbows on the output side on the pump if possible and if you can angle the pump head down in case of leakage your about done mate  :)

Hi Traps.

Now may I suggest you drill a drain hole at the bottom.

This boxes are waterproof and if one of the hoses springs a leak the hole box will fill up with water - which isn't good for electrical motors.
