Black hands

I have an Xtel pole. After a day's work with it, my palms are black and it doesn't wash off. Anyone else get this?

i think most of us get black hands no matter what poles we use!dragging hose about doesnt help.if its a carbon pole then the friction will wear the sections and it comes off as black dust.my clx 22ft has started to do this!

solutions?

gloves!or a good scrubbing brush!! ;) ;D ;D ;D

by the way my clx is 10 times better my xtel fibre glass!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D
price higher/work harder!

My slx gave me a really black thumb and forefinger on my left hand, it would not completely come off, only when i had a weeks holiday in the pool every day. It has now stopped and the only thing that is different is that i now have hot water.

Use gloves.

Even when reeling in the hose you are protected from dog cr*p.

When I have enough customers to justify another pole, I will upgrade.

My wife suggested taping the bottom section up.

I dropped a job that had chickens running free in the garden. Every time I did it, the hose got covered in chicken poop.
