Well just got back, learned a lesson today, put my new container on the shelf with my other chemicals in the back of the van, little bit shorter than the 5ltr containers i have there, first corner I came to heard a big bang in the back, flipping came off the shelf, smacked into the side door, and the lid came off, luckily it landed right way up,but it splashed the acid all over the door plastic, and step,so managed to wash it off with some pre spray I had made up,but got it on my hands,to say it burned was an understatement.
Stuck it back with a bungee cord round it.
Managed to get a brush with the buffer.
Job took me 2 hours, but there was a lot of faffing around,as it was my first one, took my time made sure everything was covered over, goggles, black rubber gauntlets waterproof trousers the works, had to do the en suite by hand, with a small brush, and did the bathroom by hand,as that was only small, used the machine in the kitchen, and utility, was very happy with results, got it signed off,and was going to give it one last mop, where I had splashed some water from the carpet cleaning, got told not to bother,as it was fine.So the £350 I spent on the machine, was not wasted, should be here tomorrow.
Had to take the plastic tread off the step this eve as the aqua mix had got under it,so I washed it all off, some of the paint has peeled, but in honesty it needed painting again anyway,as it was a bit scuffed..Good day other than that
