over the years ive lost count of how many flyers posted loads of different shapes sizes etc i personaly i think they  think its just junk mail which it is and pop it in the bin i think one one time i did over 500 not one custy ive since the done over 1.000no replys. classic example yesterday ive been keeping my eye on afew new builds i finished earley just poped round and got 2 just by cavasing face to face one of the custys said we have already had to 2 flyers already but jus bined em we like to know who we are dealing whith, etc i think face to face is more productve in my opinion plus cheaper

it depends on the person some are shy some want to see a face.so i think both and canvasing  have their place i personally use leaflets.lately i started posting to neighbors of the houses i already do .2 days after i posted i receive a call from the next door of the house i did.
i have 60000 leaflets to be delivered in the next few months .it's the royal mail type of leaflet.we'll see what happens .this week i think i had enquirers from every form of advertising i do.one from seeing me working and got my email address ,one googled window cleaning and i was on top 5,one from a magazine i have an advert and one from some leaflets i delivered months ago.so they all work it's just a matter of time

I dont think you can beat face to face, especially on new builds where they will be littered with flyers, i think flyers can work if they are dropped in very large quantities.

Gotta say from the flyers ive dropped ive not had one call. I havent done masses tho, just usually drop a few around in new areas, and i do knock peoples doors.

not a waste of time at all, i have a basic flyer design black and white no frills my friend delivers them for me a few hours a day couple of times a week and my phone has been ringing every day, done about 3000 so far and i've got near 400 quids worth of work from them,

as I was typing this reply just had another enquiry from a flyer, anyone want me to email a copy to them i can do, not gonna post it up on here though

they do work you dont need some fancy design like i've seen from one on here recently,

ive handed out about 2500 flyers in about 3 weeks and so far i have had 34 calls. all monthly work, nice little pay rise.

i supose it also depends where you are and how many windys they are in your area as i said they aint worked for me realy
