Roof Cleaning
« on: March 09, 2011, 06:46:12 pm »
I been asked to quote for a roof  clean on a three bed semi. Its come out of the blue because its not something Ive done or throught about doing before.

Can anyone give me any advise on what to look out for, pricing and anything else you might think useful?

Thanks
J

its only like washing a sloping drive  just go for it
if in dout sub it out  its not something to practice on  you will only get one chance to do it right
dont mess it up   and force more regs on us that are competent

One of my Clients asked about carpet cleaning!!! So i gave her the number for a carpet cleaning company ;)

My point is stick to what you know and are good/experienced at and that way we can all make a living :)

Thanks for the advice chaps, but we don't just do carpet cleaning. We have grown our business into pressure washing and window cleaning, but granted we haven't cleaned roofs before. I take it you had to clean a roof for the first time at some point and have built up your knowledge from there. We'll all trying to get on and better and do well. Rest ashored if and when I take on this type of work I will do a professional job which both the client and I will be happy with.

Thanks for your comments and advice.
Kind Regards
