marble steps

Been ask to clean/restore two marble steps which is open to all the elements and only used by staff,  I think they want a mirror finish just for one day perhaps three, I know nothing about this any help will be appreciated

It would not be cost effective for you to buy the tools to do this Len. What area is the job i may be able to do it for you.

Out of interest what type of tools would I need for this job? I was thinking along the lines of a below picture due to the smallish area


The job is near Harrods and I may take you up on your offer subject to I disagreeociate agreement. Size about 16in X 5ft X 2 there is some rust marking where the doors bolt in to it; if you can give me a ball park figure I will run it past him. Oh we are in there 18th or 19th of this month

Try hot water and detergent Tide Laundry. I worked in an Off Road Center, and we used the shop floor with good results. Just do not use anything abrasive, because marble is a relatively soft stone.

There are good commercial sealers on the market. Check with a local equipment rental center, if no cleaning supply stores in your area.
