Yes would have to agree with most on here. I earn enough on dry days. Though the only time I would work in the rain would be last few days of the month.

i work in light rain but if its raining when im ready go out work i dont bother until it clears, you get soaked quick so dont end up working long in it anyway, unless your deperate for cash that is,plus when your trad all frames/sills are soaked making the job harder so i prefer stay at home, plus i only do 4 days a week so iv always got 2 spare days to catch up  ;)

ive worked in the rain all afternoon(it was dry all morning).good full days work in.

its defo easier and better wfp in the rain than climbing wet ladders using squeegees and having to change ya cloths every 2 mins!been there done that for many years!

i was bone dry all day due to goretex boots/jacket etc.

IMO you HAVE to work in the rain sometimes otherwise your income suffers.ok not when its bouncing down but to only work on dry days is madness!what if it rains practically all week?are you just gona have the week off?

sorry no way!!!!!

just get on with it unless its really heavy coupled with strong winds!!!! ;D ;D ;D

i remember a few years ago when it rained practically every day for 6 weeks during the summer holidays(jul-aug).

what did you do stan?have 6 weeks off? ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

if its showers or even moderate rain its ok to work IMO.some customers will give us the "not today" but they are  few and far between.

most of the time is doesnt rain ALL of the working day so crack on i say if you have work piling up!

if your mostly wfp then working in wet weather is so much better than tradding!! :D :D

never used to work in the rain as I was worried what the customers may say .... then came December with the snow and -15 temps .... made myself go out and do what I could and also promised myself to work in the rain from there on .... 2 months later Ive stopped checking the weather forecast and just got on with it rain or shine and not had any issues at all ..... last week had 1 customer joke  "now youve been its going to rain" i just said yup guaranteed it will or your money back  :)

:)

Egr valve and cam shaft sensor gone,

Took them more time to plug in to diagnostics to work it out than to fix it
Still it is cheaper  than running 2 vehicles un necessarily

work in rain, 5 days a week no matter what amount of rain is falling.

rain does not effect wfp.i inform customers of this before i do the 1st clean, how on earth are we going to run a
successful business imagine if you have staff they wont be happy with 3 days off cos it rained, how will they pay house bills.
